Had an amazing time with friends! The location is perfect for exploring nearby places like the ferry terminal and Kidichi Spice Farm. The rooms are spacious, and the breakfast by the pool is delightful. Don't forget to check out the stunning rooftop views! Highly recommend this hotel for any group getaway.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room was quite noisy, which made it hard to sleep at times. This could be an issue for light sleepers.

perfect base for exploring stone town's sights and sounds
The staff were incredibly welcoming, and I loved being just a short stroll away from the vibrant Streets of Stone Town and local cafes like Puzzle Coffee Shop, where I could grab a quick bite before heading out for the day, making my city walks so much more enjoyable with easy access to nearby attractions like the Old Fort and the historic House of Wonders.

missingWrote a review on 28 Auguncomfortable furnishings
The furnishings scream for an upgrade—everything from the uncomfortable chairs to the outdated and slightly dusty decor gives you a sense of neglect. The pool was under maintenance during my visit, so I missed out on that refreshing retreat. Breakfast options lean toward the uninspiring side, and wandering just around the corner offers better and cheaper eats. If you need natural light, you may want to rethink your room choice—some rooms are quite dark, with artificial lighting that feels harsh.

The room was spacious and clean, definitely comfy. I liked the decor, really gave off that historical vibe. The open-air shower was a cool touch, but the bath set up could use some work. It was a bit tricky to use with the shower placement. Overall, a good spot to rest after exploring.

Great location in the heart of history!
We spent 2 nights here and loved it! The spot is super close to all the cool places in Stone Town. Our room was spacious with old-school decor, really charming! Staff was friendly, but breakfast was pretty basic. Just be prepped for some stairs. Overall, it’s a quirky place that gives you that Zanzibar vibe!
